I was born in the Andes and live today between the Alps and Fennoscandia. My academic and professional background reflects a transatlantic bridge towards differing ways of thinking and doing, an experience of incorporating situated knowledges within my theoretical and aesthetic orientation and an awareness of the varying discursive concepts operating within the creative fields. During the past 20 years that I have lived in Europe, I have developed a curatorial practice focused on design and material culture history. My experience as a writer and curator has aimed to examine the unique cultural logic structures that define the development of material culture from a kaleidoscopic perspective.
