Laura Schwyter is a trained clothing designer and textile designer with a bachelor's degree from HSLU Design Film Art and a CAS Atmospheric Design from ZHdK. As a textile designer and educator, it is her heartfelt desire to give textile craftsmanship a space. She created this space in 2021 with her studio and course venue “Textilosaurus.” Here, textile crafts are practiced, researched, taught, and promoted. She is particularly interested in the connection between handicrafts and mental well-being.

In addition to her freelance work, Laura also works at HSLU DFK as an artistic assistant in the textile design department.
